Approximately twenty-five thousand households in south-east Queensland woke up experiencing outages on the start of the week after powerful weather events impacted the area, producing wind gusts reaching 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Frozen Precipitation and Widespread Damage
Locals witnessed giant hailstones measuring up to 7cm in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that different parts across Queensland had been affected by significant hail.
